On 5 June Sotheby’s will proudly present its traditional Swiss Art / Swiss Made auction. The sale will feature a large selection of high quality paintings, works on paper, sculpture and design from renowned artists, ranging from the 18th century through to the present day. This year, alongside international museums and institutions, we will mark the centenary of the death of Ferdinand Hodler (1853-1918) with special exhibitions in Zurich and Geneva dedicated to this seminal Swiss artist. Our 2018 sales will include a selection of important works by the Swiss master.
