The spring sale of Old Master Paintings will be led by an important group of Baroque still lifes from a private collection, including paintings by Bartolomeo Cavarozzi, Fede Galizia, Panfilo Nuvolone, Louise Moillon, Pier Francesco Cittadini and more, all of which will be offered without reserve. Other highlights include the Jack and Eileen Feather collection, which features paintings by Giovanni Domenico Tiepolo and Jean-Baptiste Greuze, amongst others, as well as important paintings by masters such as Francesco Guardi, Angelica Kauffmann, and François Drouais. Sotheby’s is also honored to be offering a variety of works from Museum collections, including a beautiful, intact triptych by Sano di Pietro and an impressive three-quarter length portrait by Tintoretto from the Metropolitan Museum of Art as well as two early Netherlandish paintings by Adriaen Isenbrandt from the Berkshire Museum.
