Lot of two Coptic textile fragments, 4th to 5th century

with rabbit and lion designs, framed and matted on grass cloth, 9 1/2" h x 4" w (view, of largest), 18" h x 14" w (frame); Coptic cloth is a fine, dense fabric produced in the 2nd - 8th centuries AD, by the Copts, Christian descendants of the ancient
